Baltic Amber Necklaces

Baltic amber is not a stone but fossilised tree resin, millions of years old. For centuries it has been worn as a natural, grounding and calming material.

In traditional folk use, amber is worn to ease everyday aches, to support adults living with joint inflammation, and to comfort babies during teething.

My name is Olga Karvani. I am a mother of three boys and an artist living in Mitzpe Ramon, in the Israeli desert, together with my partner Erez Karvani.

I run a creative studio called "Umaniya — a home for creating in nature", part of a gallery in Mitzpe Ramon, where I also teach art workshops. The amber necklaces come from a workshop in Lithuania, and every piece is chosen by hand.
